Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 - DEPART USA Overnight flight to Berlin.

Day 2 - ARRIVE BERLIN (2 NIGHTS) Welcome to Berlin, the capital of Germany! Unwind after your journey or take a leisurely stroll through this fascinating city. This evening meet with your Travel Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Reception and an evening orientation drive. (Welcome Reception) Hotel: Andels (SF)

Day 3 - BERLIN SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME Your Local Guide shows you Berlin's most famous sights including the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag and the Kurfürstendamm. Spend time afterwards shopping or exploring on your own. Perhaps visit Potsdam or the Pergamon Museum in your free time. (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 4 - BERLIN - COPENHAGEN (2 NIGHTS) Drive north to Rostock and board your ferry to Denmark. A pleasant drive brings you to the Danish capital, Copenhagen. This evening, you may wish to take a stroll around the Old Town! (Buffet Breakfast) Hotel: Marriott (MD)

Day 5 - COPENHAGEN SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME Admire the Little Mermaid, Renaissance Stock Exchange, the Royal Amalienborg Palace and Christiansborg Palace during your sightseeing tour with a Local Guide. You are free this afternoon to shop for souvenirs or relax. Tonight, why not visit the famous Tivoli Gardens and enjoy a traditional Danish dinner. (Scandinavia Breakfast)

Day 6 - COPENHAGEN - STOCKHOLM (2 NIGHTS) Travel north-east across the Oresund to the forests and meadows of Småland. Continue past Lake Vättern and enjoy spectacular views of Brahehus Castle en route to the Swedish capital, Stockholm. Dine tonight at your hotel. (Scandinavia Breakfast,Dinner) Hotel: Park Inn (F)

Day 7 - STOCKHOLM SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME Explore City Hall and view the Royal Palace during your sightseeing tour with a Local Guide. Spend free time afterwards shopping or exploring the old town. (Scandinavia Breakfast)

Day 8 - STOCKHOLM - AT SEA Today explore this harbour city at leisure. Why not join an excursion to the Wasa, a 17th century Galleon reclaimed from the seabed after 300 years. Later, board your ship for an overnight mini-cruise to Finland. (Scandinavia Breakfast,Dinner)

Day 9 - AT SEA - HELSINKI After an early arrival in Helsinki, your Local Guide shows you the city's sights including Finlandia Hall, Senate and Market Squares. This evening is free to enjoy local cuisine at the restaurant of your choice. (Scandinavia Breakfast) Hotel: Grand Marina (F)

Day 10 - HELSINKI - ST. PETERSBURG (2 NIGHTS) Follow the Gulf of Finland past the timber centre of Kotka and through the forests of Karelia to the Russian border. (Buffet Breakfast,Dinner) Hotel: Holiday Inn (F)

Day 11 - ST. PETERSBURG SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME Your Local Guide shows you the city's sights including the Tsar's Winter Palace, Nevsky Prospekt, St Issac's Cathedral and the statue of Peter the Great. Visit the Peter and Paul Fortress. This afternoon, there is plenty of free time to see more sights and shop for Russian souvenirs. (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 12 - ST. PETERSBURG - NOVGOROD This morning, visit to the Hermitage Museum to see one of the world's largest and most valuable art collections with your Local Guide. Cross the vast Russian steppes and view the Kremlin Fort and grounds, the Millennium Monument and St. Sophia Cathedral in Novgorod. Enjoy a unique Be My Guest dining experience this evening. Day 13 - NOVGOROD - TVER - MOSCOW (3 NIGHTS) A scenic drive through picturesque villages brings you to the Tver region for an included lunch. Then continue via Klin — former home of Tchaikovsky — to the Russian capital, Moscow. (Buffet Breakfast,Lunch) Hotel: Crowne Plaza (SF)

Day 14 - MOSCOW SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME See Moscow's landmarks on your sightseeing tour with your Local Guide including views of Red Square and St. Basil's Cathedral. Visit the UESCO World Heritage site of the Kremlin, a walled-in complex of palaces, cathedrals and government offices. (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 15 - MOSCOW FREE TIME A full day to explore this fascinating city. Spend free time seeing the sights or consider an optional excursion to St. Sergius Monastery and handicraft market in Zagorsk, the centre of Russian art and architecture. Join your Travel Director and fellow travellers this evening for a special Farewell Dinner. (Buffet Breakfast,Farewell Dinner)
